These 3 light LED and 6 light LED puck lights use high quality and highly efficient long life LED's.
Each single high output LED consumes only 1-watt of power, yet produces far more light per watt than any incandescent light source, offering a substantial reduction in energy cost, and greatly reducing heat produced, thus protecting the finish of the woodwork it is installed in. The truly advanced technology LED's used in our fixtures have an average life of 50,000 hours making them virtually maintenance free.
Our LED fixtures do not contain harmful chemicals such as mercury. With virtually no ultra violet (UV) radiation and low heat emission, these LED fixtures are an ideal lamp source for illuminating historical documents or artifacts in a museum, or high-end jewelry display case.
Each LED puck is constructed of machined aluminum with a beautiful brushed finish. Each fixture includes a 120V electronic Constant Current LED driver and come with a Teflon insulated lead wire. Constant current drivers are considered to be a high-end drive system, far more efficient then the constant voltage type drivers used in many LED systems sold today. Because Constant Current drivers "intelligently know" to adjust their output voltage to maintain a constant current, this means they also adjust their output on a long cable run - unlike constant voltage drivers. Always "know your driver" before purchasing and setting up an LED lighting system. Fixtures may be surface or recessed mounted. Housing ring for surface mounting is sold separately. When recessed mounted, the fixture is virtually flush with the surface. The actual thickness of the fixtures flanges ranges from 1/16” to 1/8” depending on model. Fixtures are protected with a tempered glass lens.
All fixtures are offered in three lamp color temperatures: 3000K Warm white, 4000K Standard white; and 6500 Ultra-Cool white, affording the designer a wide variety of solutions to select the best option to light a given space.
